The Minimalist’s Metrical Scheme (Episodes 3-6)

The Minimalist’s Metrical Scheme (Episodes 3-6)

These are six more poems from the series:

EPISODE 3

not

very

many

REALIZE

very

many

plot

EPISODE 4

It’s Night

Sleep on

We’ll meet on the morrow

And by then will sorrow

Be gone

There’s Light

EPISODE 5

I do

With all of my heart

I do

Till death do us part

Ten

months after

When

Moths gather

No

more laughter

And so

I do

No more

EPISODE 6

Wide

Is the road

To my abode

Pride

Is the vehicle that brought me here

Now, I’m struck with a terrible fear

I can hear

The agonies of the residents from very near

  1. This is the first time I’m hearing of this minimalist scheme,it reminds me of haiku. I’m liking yours here too, especially episode 5, I do.

    1. Ahaha, I made it up @Myne. Although not entirely though, you are aware of what minimalism is, right? I borrowed from that…Interestingly, I’m planning on dabbling into Haiku. After this series, that’s what I’m doing next, lol. Thanks, I DO appreciate you stopping by, I really DO! ;)

      1. Haiku? u sabi Japanese? This was good btw…

        1. Lol, I wish I could speak Japanese. Haiku just happens to be the only word I know, lol, and it’s only because it’s a art movement. Thank you @Scopeman for reading though.
