I’m Really Sorry

I’m Really Sorry

I’M REALLY SORRY
I lay my hand on my chest
And bow for my wrongs first
As our love could have been
It’s my fault, you’re green

I am truly sorry for all things
You may not understand my flings
But I still love you only
For only you to me are holy

Speechless I have stood for time
But today I wish our prime
You have overcome the past too
All things of God is cool

I seek your forgiveness to forget
You have said goodbye in the belt
I will always love you here
Though you sail no care

LETTING GO LETTING GOD
Our best is only good here
As the world do not care
We are different nothing more
For all things were given before

All that we seek to become
Only heaven must be reckoned
As we achieve nothing without Him
All earthly desires must be trimmed

Letting go of our earthly pride
And moving on by heavens side
Only we must rightly surrender
Our time is calling for banner

O the joy of true following
How many can true keep the promising?
We are able but will we?
The question of being truly free

  1. Oga Treasured1, u dey try o. I greet you.

  2. You may not understand my flings. It’s hard to understand flings oh. Hilary was able to forgive Clinton probably because it was just Monica and because he was president too. Really loved the first poem. The second was good too but loved the first one more. Think you are with words what cassanova was with the ladies. Keep it up.

  3. Jay is so right; its terribly hard to understand flings.I mean how can a man say he loves a woman and still have little handbags outside? senseless! I loved the first poem too.Keep writing!

  4. i can see that there is still a lot of water in your well, keep fetching sweet water like this for us. KUDOS

  5. still savouring this piece. how can any one accept this?
You may not understand my flings
But I still love you only
For only you to me are holy

if you love me, then love me alone!

  6. yea i got more interested in the rhymes of the first. i discovered something here. your focus was more on the ending rhyme than on the massage. however, (my opinion) i don’t think they really rhymed phonemically though there were some quasi-resemblance that might be deceptive in say: too and cool, forget and belt. that is to say the rhyming pattern is not consistent. some lines have have two syllables rhyme some have only a syllable while some still had just the final sound rhyming.
i enjoyed the poem though i prefer rhyming accompanied with corresponding meter in the lines especially when the sound is in focus.
    lol

  7. @adams, i disagree with you 100%. the rhymes took nothing from the message though some of the rhymes are rusty.
    what better message than this?
