As promised earlier, we have now have now converted two stories – ‘Cold Feet’, by Berry Feistypen, and ‘The Little Lodge’ by Maid into podcasts. The links to the audio files are below:

Cold Feet

The Little Lodge

To download, if you are using Internet Explorer, you will need to right click the links and click ‘Save Target As…’, then specify a location. If you are using Chrome or Firefox, you will need to right click the links and click on ‘Save link as…’.

Feel free to download, listen and distribute the files to whoever you like. The ‘Cold Feet’ file is under 4MB and the ‘Little Lodge’ file is 2MB, so they shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to download. We would very much appreciate your feedback – let us know if you liked listening to the files, and if you would like to see more of this.

Naija Stories is experimenting with new forms of distributing content, and we need your help.

Specifically, we are looking into converting one of the already published stories into a podcast, and we are looking for nominations for stories that you would like to see converted. Criteria for the stories should be:

- It should be a story – not a poem, play or musing;

- The story should not have too much dialogue;

- It should not be more than 1500 words;

- It should be well written, with very few or no grammatical errors.

Put your nominations in comments in response to this post. You may nominate any story, including one that you have written. Acceptance of nominations will close on 4 November. From the nominations, we will select the story the story that we feel is most suitable for conversion, and the podcast for this story should be put up in the next week or two after this.

Thanks in advance for your help.
