Visions

Visions

Every eye sees a different vision.
Every man,a different mission.
A different song every ear listens to,
Some sway,some move,
Some sing along,
Others dance too.

This arena we sourjourn,
Daily we toil from dusk till dawn.
Every man,an actor,
Every man.a different script.
His own director.
How he acts,so he reaps.

The road upwards leads and misleads,
On its path,many mourn,others sing.
Some strut and show,
Swaying wherever the wind blows.
Only this for sure is certain,
That one day,we shall all tender our earnings.

  1. Good philosophical poem.

  2. “Only this for sure is certain, That one day,we shall all tender our earnings.” How true Paul.

Your poem has a lot of depth.

  3. These lines were my favourite..

    “Swaying wherever the wind blows.
Only this for sure is certain,
That one day,we shall all tender our earnings”…great poetry Anderson!

  4. This poem went unnoticed by most…but that does not subtract from its beauty.

    Well done Paul.
